Now this is going to be just delicious.
We are over the moon to have been asked to do a very lovely intimate and unplugged set at the first ever Sunday Best (as part of the EAT festival) on Sunday 22nd May. Think of all those elements that can make Sundays really special (a Bloody Mary Bar, fantastic three course Sunday roast, sofas galore, good wine, Sunday papers, games for the kids, and a gorgeous walk) and then basically add us on top.
It's all happening in a beautiful canvas of a space (a renovated, but unused church in Swaffham Prior) which is going to be taken over by My Little Festival and The Banqueteers who will dress it with a cosy, warm, enticing-shabby-chic kind of vibe. The food will be provided by Guerrilla Kitchen chef Jay Scrimshaw (he's really, really good - we know this as he provided the food for our 5 year party in 2015), and (if enough people email firstname.lastname@example.org and ask for it) they're potentially laying on a bus from to and from Cambridge so that you can have a relax, plus of course not have to worry about the wine. Singing on the bus would be compulsory, and likely to be louder on the way home.
We're doing a short 30 minute set during the afternoon, with covers of tracks by bands including Alabama Shakes, Imagine Dragons, Mumford & Sons, Zero 7, Hozier, Madisen Ward & the Mama Bear and Barns Courtney. If music be the food of love.... then see below for ticket info!!
Sunday 22nd May / 1pm - 5.30pm
Tickets are available online here priced £35 for adults and £15 for children. The ticket price includes the entertainment, all food and the guided walk. Drinks are in addition, as are seats on the bus. There are only 60 tickets available for the event, so buy them fast and come and have a crackling Sunday afternoon with us.
